Necessary storage only
This store uses necessary browser storage to support shopping rather than advertising. A cookie is a small value a browser sends back to a website; local storage keeps a browser-side preference until cleared. These tools have different jobs here: maintaining a secure shopping session and remembering your necessary-only cookie setting. We do not offer optional analytics, advertising pixels, social tracking or a marketing-cookie category. The settings panel therefore saves necessary-only settings rather than presenting a misleading accept-all choice for tools we do not use.
The cart and checkout session
A first-party session cookie identifies the current shopping session. The server uses that session to associate cart quantities, checkout draft details, form-security tokens and the most recent order reference with your browser. The session has an absolute maximum lifetime of 12 hours, even if you keep browsing. It uses HttpOnly and SameSite protections; on HTTPS it is marked Secure. These controls help reduce unauthorized access but do not replace careful use of a shared device. Do not share a browser session containing checkout details with someone you do not trust.
Your saved preference
The necessary-only preference is stored locally in your browser so the compact notice can stay dismissed after you save it. It is not an advertising identifier and is not used to build a profile across websites. The preference remains until you clear site storage or change browser behavior. You can reopen the panel with Cookie settings in the footer at any time and save the setting again. Saving does not authorize a newsletter, promotional emails or optional tracking. No additional paid service is required to use the setting.
Preview selection storage
Where the shop is viewed through its versioned preview host, that host may use two necessary cookies to keep the selected shop and version connected to page and asset requests. These selection values are not customer order details. They keep links and images attached to the requested preview for up to 12 hours. They do not create permission to track your activity elsewhere. The merchant-domain store does not need preview-selection values for normal retail navigation. This explanation covers the hosting behavior without suggesting that preview settings are a customer account.
Browser controls and consequences
Most browsers let you remove cookies, block them for a particular site, restrict local storage or clear all website data. Look under privacy or site-data settings in your browser. Removing only a preference can cause the notice to reappear. Removing the session cookie can disconnect the current cart and draft, requiring you to start again. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent successful checkout because form security and the cart depend on a shared session. If you prefer not to use these tools, you can read product information and contact us with questions without placing a website order.
What we do not store in cookies
We do not place full delivery addresses, card details, banking instructions or a public order history inside the preference value. A session identifier is still important: treat it as private because it connects a browser to the active session. Never send cookie values or a full checkout screenshot to an unrelated person. When requesting assistance, a product name or order reference is normally more useful than a browser-storage export. Our Privacy Policy describes how order details are used and the request-triggered retention period for server records.
Questions and changes
If the notice returns unexpectedly, first check whether private browsing, automatic clearing or a different browser is in use. You may contact us with the browser name and a description of the issue; do not include security tokens. We aim to respond within two business days. If optional storage is introduced in the future, its purpose and controls will be explained before it is enabled where consent is required. Published changes apply prospectively. Your statutory privacy choices are not removed by a cookie preference, and saving necessary-only settings does not waive any consumer rights.
